Abstract | This report describes the evaluation phase of a 2-week seminar held at the University of Kentucky on June 12-23, 1967, and designed for supervisors and teacher educators of teachers of persons with special needs. The general objective of the seminar was to orient persons in leadership positions in vocational education to the characteristics, problems, and educational needs of persons with special needs. The report includes a description of the methods of evaluation, a presentation of the evaluation findings, and a section containing the conclusions. Five evaluation activities were involved, including pretest, posttest, daily guideline reports, individual projects, participant evaluation questionnaires, and a detailed follow-up survey. On the basis of the evaluation, it was concluded that the participants benefited professionally from having attended the seminar, and that the outcomes justified the time and effort expended by the seminar staff and the host institution.
